PIMS - Who Are We?

Modified on Thu, 19 Oct 2023 at 04:40 PM

The Property Investors Mediation Service (PIMS) is an independent organisation providing redress and mediation for property investors and property entrepreneurs in certain sectors.

Property Managers and Estate and Letting Agents are required by law to be registered with the Property Redress Scheme or The Property Ombudsman, but PIMS is the very first organisation to offer a business-to-business mediation service for property professionals working solely in Rent-to-Rent, Deal Sourcing, and Joint Ventures.

If you are a member of PIMS and only do Rent-to-Rent, Deal Sourcing, and/or Joint Ventures (as defined below), you DO NOT also need to be a member of PRS or TPO. This has been confirmed by legal authorities and Trading Standards.

Starting a property business can be overwhelming and expensive to set up, but once you are a member of PIMS, you will be enrolled in our redress scheme, which provides full mediation services as well as template contracts you can tweak and use for your Rent-to-Rent, Deal sourcing, and property Joint Venture businesses, where applicable and appropriate. All of our contracts are reviewed and updated regularly. This means you can concentrate on running your business knowing you have the support of our trained team of investigators, mediators, and adjudicators, all overseen by our legal teams.

You WILL NOT be required to pay any extra or hidden fees should you require Mediation or Adjudication from our team, AND we will cover three of your businesses within your membership, meaning if you have one company for deal sourcing, another for rent-to-rents, and another for property joint ventures, all of your companies can be covered in one membership.

All PIMS members can instill confidence and build trust with investors and landlords by displaying the PIMS logo on their own websites.

PIMS is the trading name of Property Investors Mediation Service Limited.
